Kyle Garrigan Obituary

Kyle Wayne Garrigan, Sr., age 45, began his journey to the happy hunting grounds on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his home in Red Lake, MN.

Kyle was born on April 05, 1980, in Red Lake, MN, to Sherry Garrigan of Red Lake, MN and Duane Cook, Sr., of Fargo, ND. Kyle moved home about 2 years ago to take care of his mother whom he adored. He was so full of life, he always had a smile or a big bear hug for family & friends, he was a very respectful young man he was always a joy to be around he loved to terrorize anyone who knew him and he sure had a laugh that was worth a million. Kyle was always willing to help anyone out that needed him. Kyle accomplished whatever he put his mind to, he was eager to get on the road and put his CDL to use and travel in those big Semi's. He graduated from Red Lake High School in 1998.

Kyle was a hardcore Minnesota Vikings fan and loved watching basketball plus he was a part of the 1997 Red Lake Warriors Section 8A

Sub-Section 29A Champions which made history, Kyle and his teammates always packed the gyms with Red Lake fans everyone loved to follow the team.

Brothers: Shane Garrigan of Red Lake, MN, Daniel Brun of Red Lake, MN, Troy Cook of Red Lake, MN, Selem Spears of Red Lake, MN, Duane Cook, Jr., of Red Lake, MN. Sisters: Dee & Lee Roberts of Redby, MN, Lovelyn Beaulieu of Red Lake, MN. Grandmother: Sharon Garrigan of Red Lake, MN. Uncles: Richard (Dahl) Cook of Red Lake, MN, Kevin Cook Sr. of Red Lake, MN, Fabian (Nickel) Cook of Red Lake, MN, Benjamin J. Kingbird, Jr of Red Lake, MN. James (Dino) Garrigan of Bemidji, MN. He was preceded in death by Grandparents: LeRoy A. Garrigan, Sr., Henry (Hank) Cook, Anna Auginash. Great Grandparents: Bernice & Richard Roberts, Anna & John Garrigan, Ida & Teddy Cook, Jeanette & Fred Auginash. Brother: Devin Neadeau, Sr., Sister: Miranda Roberts. Uncles: Wendell Cook, Donald (Ham) Cook. Aunts: Barbara Cook, Ameila Cook, Roberta Crowe, Vi Donnell, Elaine (Honey) Blanchard, Ina Mae McNeal, Diane Cook, Carla Brun. Kyle's wishes were to be cremated and not have a funeral, so we will have a Celebration of Life at 1PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the New Red Lake Community.
