Laura Clark Obituary

Laura Faye Clark, age 40, of Duluth, Minnesota, journeyed to the spirit world on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at her home in Duluth.

Laura was born in Bemidji, MN on May 6, 1981 to Marylou Clark and Michael Norcross. She grew up and attended school in Kelliher, MN. Laura was known for her contagious smile, her great sense of humor, and her love for others. She loved her family and friends. She loved doing hair and makeup on herself and her sisters and daughters. She loved going out to eat with family. She loved spending time with her daughters and sons. She was always there to give anyone a needed helping hand. She loved going shopping at the mall. She will be missed by many, but her family is at peace knowing she will be with other loved ones who have passed before her.

Laura will be greatly missed by her children Alyssa Clark (Jedidiah) of Grand Rapids MN, Ethan Clark, Isabelle Clark, Waabigan Martin, Brian Martin Jr., and Winfield Morrison, all of Duluth; sisters Phyllis Norcross (Mark) of Red Lake and Elizabeth Norcross of Duluth; brothers Michael Norcross, Jr. of California, Brian Norcross (Linda) of Ponemah, Gary Norcross of Bemidji, and Geoffrey Norcross of Duluth; and father Michael Norcross of Duluth. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Delores Clark and Genevieve Adams; mother Marylou Clark; sisters Michele Clark, Teanna Clark, and Rachel Clark; and aunty Carol Whitefeather.

A wake for Laura will begin on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 1:00pm at the Redby Center, Redby, MN, and will continue until her service on Monday, September 13, at 1:30pm. Officiating will be Fr. George Ross. Pallbearers will be Ethan Clark, Jedidiah Newton, Mark Jourdain, Rhys Beaulieu, Brian Norcross and Frankie Papasodora-Clark. Alternate pallbearers will be Brian Martin Jr., Gary Norcross, Geoffrey Norcross, and Keegan Morrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Alyssa Clark, Isabelle Clark, Waabigan Martin, Phyllis Norcross, Jasmine Clark, Shayna Clark, and Elizabeth Norcross. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
