Lawrence "Baby" Lar" Norquay, Jr.

Lawrence D. “Baby Lar” Norquay, Jr., age 25, of Redby, MN, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023.

Lawrence was born on April 19, 1997, in Bemidji, MN, to Teresa Cloud and Lawrence Norquay, Sr. He enjoyed hanging out with his buddies, gaming and liked to be home.

He will be lovingly remembered by his grandparents: Patricia Morgan and Fabian Sayers, Sr.; siblings: Avery Norquay, Ellie Maxwell and Misty Oakgrove; special friends, Brianna Kingbird and Tawnee Jones; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. 

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; grandfather, Lawrence Morgan; aunts: Nadine Cloud and Angela Nelson, as well as many other relatives.

The wake will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Redby Community Center and continue until the service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 30, 2023, with Pastor Tom Pollock officiating. Active casketbearers will be: Lydell Neadeau, Fabian Cloud, Dayton Lussier, Roland Wilson, Jr., Antonio Gayton, Terrance Kingbird, Tory Jones and alternates: Hinton Jones and Justin Lussier. Honorary casketbearers will be: Gordon Jones, Terry Jourdain, Nellie Roberts, Vonnie Peoples, Maria Casterena, Brianna Kingbird, Janelle Cobenais, Gerald Norquay, Shana Roberts, Teandra Jones, Tuesday Jourdain, and Patrick Norquay. Burial will be at Redby Community Cemetery in Redby. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
