Lloyd C. Fisherman, age 68, of Cass Lake, MN passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home.
Lloyd was born on October 30, 1952 in Cass Lake, MN to Christina Rosebear and Donald Fisherman. He grew up near Ball Club and Sugar Point. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1973. After his honorable discharge Lloyd returned to Northern Minnesota. Lloyd was a ladies man and enjoyed travelling around making beautiful children. He enjoyed going to Pow Wows and dancing. He was quick to laugh, loved music and hanging out with family and friends. He also liked going to the casino and fishing.
He is survived by his step-mother, Nancy Whitebird; three sisters: Pearl (Ronald) Battles, Linda Fisherman and Lori Gale; numerous daughters, sons and grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, his adoptive parents: Frank and Dolly Robinson; two brothers: John Fisherman and Skel Fisherman; three sisters: Lisa Fisherman, Tracy Gale and Patti Gale; and three grandchildren: Syrai Blue, Rael Fisherman and Sammy Wilson.
The wake will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cass Lake and continue until the service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Masks will be required and please practice social distancing. Casketbearers will be: Eric Fairbanks, Jay Fisherman, Neil LaDuke, Scott London, Trayshawn McMorris and Leonard Beaudreau. Honorary casketbearers will be Lloyd’s children and grandchildren. Interment will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Cass Lake.
