Marian Pellerin Obituary

Marian L. Pellerin, 90, longtime resident of Esko, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2019, in Maplewood, MN with her nephew Joe at her side.

Marian was born on March 7, 1929, in Cloquet, MN to Emil and Lempi (Johnson) Nelson. She graduated from Cloquet High School in 1947 and in 1951, married Louis Pellerin. Marian worked as a retail clerk and a waitress through the years. She loved to knit and crochet and was always busy doing some type of craftwork. She loved to travel and went on many car trips around the US with her family. Marian loved her farm in rural Esko. She loved to mow her lawn with the rider and she loved to go on casino bus trips. Marian was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt.

Marian is survived by many nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her husband Louis, son Bruce, her parents and all of her siblings.

A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet at a date to be determined. Arrangements are being handled by Souder-Handevidt Funeral and Cremation Service of Cloquet.
