Marian Strong

Marian “Moe” Augustine Strong 66, entered the spirit world surrounding by her grandchildren & close family on August 3, 2023, at Essentia Health Care Center, Fargo, North Dakota.    She was born on July 19, 1957, to Sarah Jane Lussier and Earl Leon Augustine in Red Lake, Minnesota.  Marian loved to do arts and crafts, paint, enjoyed bingo,sewing,casino,baking, making ribbon skirts,pillows & spending time with her great grandaughters. She would do anything and everything she possibly could for her son and grand kids. She will be dearly missed by her son & grandchildren.  She loved her caretakers who did everything for her.  They were her son Jason, Shaleigha, Erica,Shalana & Kevin.  She is preceded in death by her parents, great grandchild Ryzelle Rose and several other family members.   Marian is survived by her son Jason Strong; three grandchildren Shaleigha Strong & Shalana Strong, Christopher Earl;  seven great grandchildren who were her pride and joy,  Erica Neadeau, Remington Lussier, Mateo Ramirez, Hailey Jo Earl, Christopher Earl Jr., Caleb Earl, and Oliver Earl; Siblings Gail (Clifford) Rabideaux, Cheryl Rhodes, Joyce Johnson, and Dale Augustine.  Honorary Pallbearers for Marian will be Shaleigha Strong, Shalana Strong, Erica Neadeau, Remington Lussier, Sheila Neadeau, Stacey Lussier, Lois Lussier, Yvette Lussier, Tiffany Lussier, Marion Lussier, Brenda Johns, Jeanie Donnell, Donald ‘Duck’ Good Sr., Mavis Strong, Belan Villalovos, Delmarie Johnson, Olga Hanson, Naomi Flores, Vinn Mai, John Le, and Pearl Ramsey.  Her Pallbearers will be Christopher Earl, Jason Strong, Kevin Ramirez, Donald Good Sr., Charles Lussier, and Rodney Lussier.   A Catholic wake for Marian will begin on Sunday August 6, 2023, at 5:00 PM and continue until the funeral service on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the New Red Lake Center, Red Lake, Minnesota with Fr. John Christenson officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Red Lake, Minnesota.  Arrangements are by Whispering Pines Funeral and Cremation Service of Walker, Minnesota
