Martin Whitefeather

Martin Whitefeather, Ozaawindibe “Brown Hair”, Ogishkimanisi “Kingfisher Clan”, was born on April 19, 1965, in Red Lake, MN. He left this world at the end of February, 2022, at 57 years old.

Martin was a very kind, patient and humble man who enjoyed the small things in life and most of all his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Whitefeather; two sisters:  Jackie and Georginna Whitefeather; two grandchildren: Sophia Muniz-Whitefeather and Gabriella Soltero Whitefeather; and his wife, Michelle Agnes Whitefeather.

The wake will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club in Ponemah and continue until the service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Allen Hardy will be the Spiritual Leader. Casketbearers will be his family and friends. Burial will be at the Ponemah Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service.
