Michael was born to Benedict and Patsy Beaulieu on June 25, 1961 in Red Lake, MN. Mike was a heavy equipment operator until he was injured. He continued on with life by living off the land; he harvested his plants and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing, especially with his best friend, Earl Sargent. Mike loved his grandchildren so much, they were the light of his life and he would do anything for them. He loved being with his family and friends. He was always willing to help in any way he could.

He is also reunited with his parents, Patsy and Babe; his brother, Bryan; his nieces, Keisha Beaulieu and Paris Beaulieu; his aunts, Sandy Holstein, Dolly & Kathy DeFoe, Rose Reed, Marion Galvon, Deanna, Ellen and Maggie Dick; and his uncles, John Skunk, Tony, Arn, Lester, Melvin and Joe Dick Jr.
