Michael Norcross

Michael W. Norcross, age 66, travelled to the spirit world on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in Duluth, MN.

Michael was born on December 12, 1957, in Red Lake, MN, to Genevieve Adams and Scotty Atkinson. He graduated with a heavy equipment degree from Kicking Horse Job Corps in Ronan, Montana. Michael lived in the Duluth area for many years. He enjoyed working on cars and trying his luck on the slots at the casino. He always had a smile on his face, was quick to laugh and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Phyllis Norcross, Michael Norcross Jr., Brian Norcross, Gary Norcross, Elizabeth Norcross, Jeffrey Norcross; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ronnie Adams, Joe Adams, Glenda Adams, Sherri Adams, Greg Norcross; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marylou; children: Michelle Clark, Teanna Clark, Rachel Clark, Laura Clark; grandson, Iziah Heinonen; sister, Carol Ann Whitefeather.

The wake will begin at Noon on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at 1PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024, with Father George Ross officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael’s family and friends. Burial will be at the Episcopal Cemetery in Redby. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
