Michelle "Josh" Lee Graves

Michelle “Josh” Lee Graves, age 53, began her journey to the spirit world on June 5, 2026 in Bemidji, MN.

Josh was born on November 26, 1972 to Vincent and Donna (White) Graves in Red Lake, MN.  She graduated from Red Lake and worked for Warroad Casino and IHS Transport. Josh enjoyed walking along the shore to collect feathers, long car rides while listening to music, attending rock concerts with friends and shopping for pretty things online or in a mall somewhere out of town. She loved her nieces and nephews as they were her own; she was always doing something fun and adventurous with them. Josh was very loving, generous and kind to those surrounding her. Her smile, laugh and jokes always enlightened the room.

Josh is survived by her mom Donna Graves; siblings Michael Graves Sr, Jerilyn Graves, Brian Graves, Wendell Graves, Jonathan Graves; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, family and friends; and her special friend Cory Desjarlait.

She is preceded in death by her dad Vincent Graves; sibling Craig; maternal grandparents George and Mary White; and paternal grandparents Joseph and Genevieve Graves.

A wake will begin at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at the Ponemah Boys and Girls Club and will continue until the service at 12 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026 with Dave Anderson.  Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
