Muriel Ellen Stewart

Muriel Ellen Stewart, age 83, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Mt. Olivet in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Muriel was born on November 19, 1939 to Francis and Dora Hart in Red Lake, Minnesota.

She grew up in the Red Lake area and worked in sales and as a nurse in St Paul and Minneapolis.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her sons Darrin (Kristin) Stewart and Jay Stewart; grandchildren Maxwell and Daisy Hackett (Molly’s children); brother Farrell (Marilyn) Hart; and sister Sammi Jo (Jim) Maher. 

She was preceded in death by her daughters Laurel Stewart and Molly (Eric Hackett) Stewart; sister Marjorie Morgenstern; brothers Milton, Giles and Howard Hart; and Sherrill Lindquist.

A service has not been scheduled at this time.
