Myron Ellis Clark Sr

Myron Ellis Clark Sr (Makokan “Brother Bear”), age 61 of Redby, began his journey to the spirit world on May 25, 2026 in Bemidji, MN.

Myron was born on December 18, 1964 to Oliver Clark Sr and Irene (Spears) Clark in Red Lake, MN. Myron is from the Bear Clan. In Myron’s younger years, he was always fixing things. He loved reading and was always listening to music. He enjoyed visiting with everyone and had a special place in his heart for all of his nieces and nephews. Myron was always going on casino missions with his brother, Cork. He was a hard worker and used to be a plumber and worked as a cook at the Thief River Falls Casino. His favorite spot to chill was in Deadwood.

Myron is survived by his son, Myron Clark Jr; sisters, Renee Clark and Ardella Ravensborg; brothers, Richard “Gitch” Clark and Oliver “Cork” Clark Jr; auntie, Margaret “Muggs” Branchaud; uncles, Johnny Spears and David Clark; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Clark Sr and Irene (Spears) Clark; brothers, Adrian, Donald “Donnie” Clark Sr, Arlen “Scuzz” Clark and Martin “Marty” Clark Sr; sisters: Donna and Becky Clark; nephews, Douglas “Doug” McBride, Martin “Baby Mard” Clark Jr and Ayden Strong; nieces, Shannon Strong, Rebecca Strong, Madeline Strong, Savannah Ravensborg, Chelsea Clark, Kayla McBride and Gerilyn Auginash.

A wake will begin at 3 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Redby Community Center and will continue until the funeral service at 1 PM on Monday, June 1, 2026 with Father Tom Niehaus officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Rodney Lussier, Barry Oakgrove, Dakota Strong, Shawn Oakgrove, Roger “June” Ravensborg Jr, Adrian Clark, Gordon Smith, Kevin Schoenborn.
