Nagweyaab Migizii Medicine “Rainbow Eagle”, of the Eagle Clan, infant son of Shequila Medicine and Andrew Colen, travelled to the spirit world on Monday, November 27, 2023, in Bemidji, MN.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents; siblings: Ayana Medicine-Colen, Xey Medicine-Colen, Aakinsii Meat and Ataano Meat; maternal grandparents: Arlan Medicine and Denise (Jim Murray) Medicine; paternal grandparents: Sandy and Allen Hardy and Joseph “Bo” Colen and Sarah Pollock; maternal great-grandmother, Marian Medicine; paternal great-grandparents: David and Lynda Schwen and Michelle and Warren Painter; uncles: Johnathon Hardy, Christopher Hardy, Dakota Medicine, Jered Conkle, Jaden Atkinson; aunt, Sekoya Medicine; as well as numerous cousins and family members.
A traditional wake will begin at 3PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at Noon on Friday, December 1, 2023. Allen Hardy will be the spiritual leader. Active pallbearers will be: John Hardy, Mark Kingbird Sr., Leodyn Kingbird, Nathan Cornelius and Jaden Atkinson. The honorary pallbearer will be Terri Rober. Burial will be at the Episcopal Cemetery in Redby, MN. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
