Norman Harold Jensen

Norman Harold Jensen, age 85, of Park Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Norman was born on June 22, 1938 in Decorah, Iowa, to Harold and Margaret (Eidenschink) Jensen.

Norm worked as Assistant to the County Engineer in Decorah, Iowa, and for Bookman-Edmonston Engineering in Casa Grande, Arizona. He was a volunteer fireman in Decorah from 1969 to 1978 and 1981 to 1988.

Norm is survived by his beloved dog, Jack; children Dana (Kendra) Jensen, Jill (Kevin) Frana and Jane Dotson; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings James Martin (Mary Ann) Jensen, Karen Allen, Bill Jensen, Dick (Sherry) Jensen, Susan (Reynold) Sacquitne, Paul (Laurie) Jensen; sister-in-law Diane Jensen; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Harold, and four siblings – Jeanie, Dave, Jerry and Mike.

A private family service is being held for Norman and burial will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Hackensack, Minnesota.
