Randy Atkinson Obituary

Randy D. Atkinson, age 44, of the Bear Clan, began his journey to the spirit world on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in Fargo, ND.

Randy was born on December 31, 1979, in Bemidji, MN to Gabriella “June” Atkinson and Floyd Cloud. Randy loved watching WWF and sports, especially the Vikings on Sunday afternoons. He enjoyed working on cars and loved his new fur baby cat, CeCe. Family was important to Randy, he loved spending time with them and his friends whenever possible.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents: June Atkinson and Floyd Cloud; daughter, Savannah Atkinson; his wife, Creatha Atkinson; sisters: Rochelle and Tammy Atkinson; nieces: Shai Atkinson, Sekoya Medicine, Peyton Atkinson; nephews: Trevin Atkinson, Tyrell Atkinson, Jaden Atkinson, Shawn Kingbird II, Isaac Atkinson; great-nephew, Christopher Atkinson; aunts: Orianna Kimball and Brenda Smith, Sandra Cloud; uncle, Gary Thunder.

Those greeting him in the spirit world are his grandparents: Wallace and Betty Cloud and Lorraine Beaulieu; aunts: Karen Cloud, Mabel Kingbird, Phyllis Thunder, Ada Atkinson, Bonnie Dow; uncles: Wallace Cloud Jr., Gary Smith, Sr., Vincent Dow; cousins: Nadine Cloud, Teresa Cloud, Angela Cloud, Kaishauna Thunder, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A traditional wake will begin at Noon on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at 10AM on Monday, August 19, 2024, with Ty Stately as spiritual leader. Active pallbearers will be: Isaac Atkinson, Tyrell Atkinson, Jaden Atkinson, Trevin Atkinson, David Smith, Tyrone Thunder, Sr., Jordan Cloud, Shawn Kingbird II. Alternates will be: Clell Bellanger, Sean Thunder, Matt Beaulieu, Kevin Ehrich Sr. and Gary Thunder. Honorary pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Burial will be at the Cloud Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
