Randy Lee "Bucky" Hanson

Randy “Bucky” Lee Hanson, age 33, of Minneapolis, MN, passed into the Spirit World on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones, at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Randy was born May 6, 1987, in Minneapolis MN  to Sherry Hanson and Juan White Corona.  Bucky grew up in Minneapolis and enjoyed doing woodburning projects, listening to music, and traveling to visit family. Bucky leaves behind two sons: Robert Stangel and Jonathan Stangel; five sisters: T’anna Hanson, Luisa Garcia-Hanson, Lulu Corona, Juanita Corona, and Valerie Corona; two brothers: Mark Corona and Jose (Chongo) Garcia; significant other Felicia Sigana.  Bucky is joined in the Spirit World with his mother Sherry Hanson, father Juan White Corona, grandmother Cookie Hanson, grandfather Boy Rainey, uncle Skinnyman, and cousin Marcel Rainey.  Bucky will be deeply missed.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from 1:00 to 3:00pm, at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri, 3045 Park Avenue, Minneapolis. A wake will be held at the Red Lake Community Center, Red Lake, MN, beginning Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 8:00pm and continuing until the service on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 11:00am. Fr. Jerry Rogers will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Marcus Garcia, Emeliano Allen, Jose Garcia, Mark Corona, Cliff Jones, Troy Thompson, Daunte Greene, and Robert Stangel. Honorary pallbearers will be Luisa, Nancy, Josette, Karen, Brittany, and Mariah. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake, Minnesota.
