Robert Charles Jourdain Sr

Robert Charles Jourdain Sr, age 76, began his journey to the spirit world on April 10, 2026 in Red Lake, MN.

Robert was born on January 21, 1950 in Red Lake, MN. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, taking pictures of nature and going to the casino.

Robert is survived by his brothers Donald Jourdain, Douglas Jourdain, Bruce Jourdain and Mark Jourdain; and sisters Shirley Lussier, Judith Jourdain, Bonnie Jourdain, Becky Jourdain, Marlene Jourdain, Beverly Jourdain and Kathy Jourdain. He is also survived by his beloved children: Sons Curtis Jourdain Sr, Robert Jourdain Jr, Paul Jourdain, Jeremy Schoon and Robert Fairbanks; and daughters Rosebud Jourdain, Naomi Sam, Aletha Thompson and Aimee Jourdain; 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion Rose Simmons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Mark Jourdain; brothers Paul Jourdain and Alan Jourdain; and twin sister Roberta Jourdain.

A wake will begin at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the New Red Lake Center and will continue until the funeral at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 with Spiritual Leader Mike Needham. Active Pallbearers will be Bill Stately, Curtis Jourdain Jr, Rory Spears, Nodinoons Jourdain, Gerald Jourdain, Ron Lussier; alternate Alan Parkhurst. Honorary Pallbearers will be his Brothers and Sisters. Special mention to Red Lake EMS and IHS Emergency Room Staff.  Burial will be at St Mary’s Cemetery in Red Lake, MN.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
