Roberta Jean Bradow

Roberta Jean Bradow, age 89, passed away at the Havenwood Care Center in Bemidji on March 8, 2024. She was born on June 11, 1934 in Churdan, Iowa to Ray and Freda (Bushman) McCoy.

She grew up in Pine River and met the love of her life, Ervin Bradow, who she married in 1956. They lived in St Paul, Nisswa and finally landed in Walker, where they raised their family. Roberta did home day care and, in 1980, they moved to Park Rapids, where she worked as a para at Park Rapids School. She loved her family, gardening, friends, birds and nature and had a strong faith.

Roberta is survived by sons Richard (Cynthia) Bradow and Steven (Rochelle) Bradow; daughters Julie (Mark) Gustafson and Amy (Jerry) Bergeron; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Bradow.

Services will be held at Immanual Lutheran Church in Cass Lake on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Phillip Houser. The service will be followed by a luncheon. Burial will be at Farris/Farden Township Cemetery in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
