Roberta Marie Jackson, age 74, began her journey to the spirit world on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Bemidji, MN.
Roberta was born on July 28, 1951 to Fred and Rose (Jenkins) Jackson in Cass Lake, MN. Roberta liked to go to the casino and loved powwows. She enjoyed her travels to Montana for softball. She loved to eat, especially Chinese food! Roberta loved watching the Vikings, especially with her nephew, Timmy, and she loved watching the grandkids play football and basketball.
Roberta is survived by her daughters: Christine and Claudette (Darryl “Duck” Drouillard); sons: Conan and Charlie; 18 grandkids and 23 great-grandkids; sisters: Louise, Patty, Mona and Debbie; brothers: Simon and Pat; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Rose; brothers: Fred Jr and Baby Joseph; daughter: Renae; nephews: Timmy, Nate, Joe, Mike and Randy; and nieces: Laurie and Rose; grandsons: Curtis, Bradley, Christopher and Dylan; and great-granddaughter: Maliyah.
A wake will begin at 5 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at the Onigum Center and will continue until the service at 11 AM on Friday, October 31, 2025 with Pastor Bill Butcher. Active Pallbearers will be Daniel “Boomer” Jackson, David Drouillard, Randy Drouillard, Ricky Headbird, Gage Headbird Sr, Tyrell Jackson, Gordon Jackson, Dedric Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leslie Headbird Jr, Darryl “Duck” Drouillard, granddaughters Amber Headbird, Kylie Jackson, Tyra Dunn, Tyarra Jackson, Shanielle Jackson, Shayla Jackson, Jaylee Jackson, Jasmine Drouillard, grandsons and great-grandchildren. Burial will be at the Old Agency Cemetery in Onigum. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
