Ronnie Brown

     Ronnie R. Brown of Nevis passed away at his home on Saturday, July 19th, 2025. Ronnie was born in Winsted, Minnesota to Neale and Priscilla Brown on May 6th, 1962 where he lived for a short time until the family moved to Nevis, Minnesota in 1970. He attended Park Rapids High School, and was employed at Nevis Lumber in the mill for most of his working years.

      Ronnie enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter. He liked watching   television and was always well informed about world events. He loved his E-bike and put many miles on it biking the Heartland Trail. Ronnies most favorite times were his trips out west to South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana with his brother-in-law Brad. He looked forward to those trips all year.

     Ronnie is survived by his siblings Greg (Chris) Brown, Mary Flygare, and Cheryl (Brad) Akre, all in Park Rapids, nieces Debi Brown (Jim) of Fargo, ND, Mindy DeWinter, Park Rapids, and Jessica Brown (Dusty), Saginaw, MN, nephew Brody Ball (Jamie), Nevis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother Jeff Brown, brother-in-law Chuck Flygare, nephew Curt Brown, and nephew-in-law Rick DeWinter.

     He will be buried at the German Cemetery in Eagle Bend. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
