Shirley Mae Roy-Lussier, age 82, has entered her journey to the spirit world on February 1, 2026 at the Jourdain-Perpich Center in Red Lake, MN.
Shirley was born on March 19, 1943 to Samuel Roy Sr and Agnes (Neadeau) Roy. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to Bemidji shopping and to the casino. She liked watching old movies, reading true stories, gardening and sitting outside.
Shirley is survived by her children: Collins Lussier, Lianne Lussier, Deanna Lussier, Sheila Lussier, Frank Lussier, Keenan Norris and Rosetta Roberts; special daughter: Felicia Lussier; special sons: Ca’Trell Thunder and Kashawn Lussier; sisters: Audrey Roy, Melba (Punkin) Roy, Diane Roy special nieces: Sasha Roy, Carmen Roy, LeAsha Roy, Seleasha Roy and Samantha Roy; special grandsons: Kyon Lussier and Danielson Lussier; 34 grandchildren and 79 great and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Samuel and Agnes Roy; daughter: Audrey Dawn Lussier; grandchildren: Karley, Baaki Mawke, Trina, Delanely, Jared, Colleen, Daniel, Paris; special son, Quentin Roy; brothers: Samuel Roy Jr, Gordon Roy and Craig Roy Sr; husband: James C. Lussier Sr; and Special Friend: Allen (Slugger) Roberts Sr.
A wake will begin at 1 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Old Little Rock Center and will continue until the service at 2 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 with Father Tom Niehaus. Active Pallbearers will be Robin Hardy, Ca’Trell Thunder, Michael Lussier, Charles Martin, Juelz Hardy-Martin, Craig Roy. Honorary Pallbearers will be all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the Jourdain-Perpich Staff and Residents. Burial will be at the Family Burial Grounds near Red Lake, MN. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
