Silas Anthony Pittman

Silas Anthony Pittman, infant son of Kianna Anderson and Ring “Carter” Pittman of Fargo, ND, passed away on May 13, 2026 in St Paul, MN.

Even though his life was short, his soul was just too beautiful for this world. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and parents.

Silas is survived by his parents; grandparents Heather (Jonathan) Smith and Todd (Raven) Anderson; maternal great-grandparents Eva (Alvin) Jones, Charles (Sarah) Smith Jr, Dawn (Perry) White; maternal great-great-grandparents Alverda Strong, Phyllis Gurno, Kathy Anderson; paternal grandparents Michael McManus, Nathaniel Pittman and Sarah Lupkiewich; maternal aunts Kacie, Kelcie, Kaleigha, Kachine, Kali and Kami Anderson, Camila Thompson, Hayleigh and Madison Kingbird; maternal uncle Jonathan Kingbird Jr; paternal aunt Lahna Pittman; paternal uncle Aaron Pittman; special aunts Michelle Anderson, Angel Smith, Dannielle Sauvageau; along with special grandpa Alvin “Johnny” Johnson Sr; and many more loving family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jason Anderson Sr, Charles “Ron” Anderson, Charles Smith Sr, William “Pun” Strong, Edward Jones and Mary Roberts; aunties Casey Jourdain and Birdie Senogles; uncles Devin Anderson, Tristan Thompson, Todd Anderson Jr, Frank Strong Jr and Frank Strong Sr.

A wake will begin at 2 PM on Monday, May 18, 2026 at the Old Red Lake Center and will continue until the funeral at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 with Spiritual Advisor Kelly Iceman. Active Pallbearer will be Heather Smith and Todd Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kacie Anderson, Kelcie Anderson, Kaleigha Anderson, Kachine Anderson, Kami Anderson, Kali Anderson, Hayleigh Kingbird, Madison Kingbird, Jonathan Kingbird Jr, Lahna Pittman, Aaron Pittman.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
