Spring L Porter

Spring L. Porter - born on April 19th, 1970, grew her angel wings peacefully on July 30th, 2025 surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Backus, MN. Spring lived with Wayne and Janell Hasty’s foster home for over 20 years. She loved knitting, crocheting, sewing, adventures, hiking, walking on trails, playing bingo, unicorns,music and movies. She cherished spending time with her boyfriend David and his family as well as spending time with her “best friend” Stacy. She will also be remembered by her daughter, Rose W. Spring was a very loving and caring person that enjoyed helping others and going to work at the Pine River DAC. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service serving northern Minnesota.
