Steven “Skup” Beaulieu, age 64, began his journey to the spirit world on Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Remer, MN.
Steve was born on July 19, 1960, in Red Lake, MN to Mildred (Sayers) and Herbert Beaulieu. Steve worked for the fisheries for many years. He enjoyed going for rides, listening to the radio and pow wow music. Steve liked trying his luck at the casino and hanging out with friends and family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Sue Graves; grandchildren: Deon, Joyce, Ryan, Michael Paul, Miranda, Trevor, Kelsie, Justin, Jason, Tyrone, Orrin; great-grandchildren: Avia, Legend, Ryan Jr; special daughter, Patricia Sigana; brother, Frank Beaulieu; in-laws: Eldora and Skidge Lussier, Cora Sigana, Molly Sigana, Margaret Sigana; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by: his soul mate and love of his life, Wanda Pierre; his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; son-in-law, Scott Graves; siblings: Doug, Paul, Darryl, John and Herald Beaulieu, Norma Beaulieu, Camille White, Nancy Beaulieu; special daughters: Laura and Christal Pierre; nephews: Arlen Stately Jr, Herbert John Beaulieu, Allen Beaulieu; bros: Kenny “Boy” Hanson, Ed Lussier, Darrell “Sudy” Stately.
A traditional wake will begin at 11AM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the New Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake and continue until the service at 10AM on Monday, May 12, 2025. Active pallbearers will be: Mason Bullhead, Robin Lussier, Dominic Lussier, Justin Beaulieu, Michael Smith, Desmond Sigana, Darwin Stately, Deon Pierre, Justin Sigana, Ryan Smith, Darrell Pierre, Mark Sigana, Dean Stately. Honorary pallbearers will be: Sue Graves, Eddie Cook, Frank Beaulieu, Arlen “Bushman” Roberts, Donovan English, Lisa Stately, Greg Johns, Linda Stately, Loni Sayers, Lainie Beaulieu, Leslie Beaulieu, Susan Beaulieu, Laura Wass, Ashley Enstrom, Ivan Lussier, Jackie Beaulieu, Patricia Sigana, Paul Beaulieu, Jan Lussier, Miranda Smith, Joyce Keezer, Kelsie Sigana, Gina Hurd, Douglas Beaulieu Jr, Xavier Stately, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
