Obituary

Tamera Jean Benais, age 34, formerly of Red Lake, MN, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Minneapolis, MN.

Tamera was born on October 4, 1987, in Red Lake, MN, to Marlys King and Darren Benais, Sr. She attended school in Red Lake and then moved to the Twin Cities.

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Marlys King, siblings: Terrance King, Michael King, Jean King, Renee King, David King, Darren (Jennifer) Benais Jr., Douglas King, Cassandra Murray and Brandon Murray; grandmother, Grace Benais; special niece, Desirae King, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tamera was preceded in death by her father, Darren Benais, Sr.; sister, Marissa Benais, and  grandmother, Margaret Benais.

The wake will begin at Noon on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Little Rock Community Center and continue until the service at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 with Father John Christianson officiating. Casketbearers will be: Desirae King, Frank Gruno, Dan White, Caleb Benais and Kavon Benais. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service (www.whisperingpinesnorth.com).
