Tanaya Lussier

Tanaya M. Lussier, age 18, of Red Lake, MN, travelled to the spirit world on Thursday, August 8, 2024 in Red Lake, MN.

Tanaya was born on June 13, 2006, in Bemidji, MN, to Sheena Kingbird and Ivan Lussier. She was raised by her grandparents, Robin and Diane Lussier. Tanaya loved hanging out with her siblings: Erica, Julissa, Mia, Ivan Jr., and Lexie; her friends and family. She was her grandma and grandpa’s baby. She loved her makeup, listening to rap, R&B, and Lil’ Durk. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved to ride the fourwheeler and driving her grandpa’s truck. Tanaya was artistic and liked drawing and painting, especially Winnie The Pooh characters. She loved her baby sis, Lexie

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents: Ivan Lussier and Sheena Kingbird; grandparents: Robin and Diane Lussier; siblings: Erica, Julissa, Mia, Ivan Jr and Lexie Lussier; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Those greeting her in the spirit world are her uncle, Alan Lussier Sr.; aunt, Caroline Bellanger and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.

A traditional wake will begin at 1PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the New Red Lake Community Center and continue until the service at 10AM on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Active pallbearers will be: Erica Lussier, Brian Bellanger, Lawrence Lussier, Jarrell Schoenborn, Julissa Lussier, Trent White, Paula Johnson, John Sigana, Dom Lussier. Honorary pallbearers will be: Romie May, Jayleigh Polar, Marybeth Bellanger-Defoe, Liberty Beaulieu, Arrayah Charette, Shakota Spears, Robbie Auginash, Flower White, Alynica Jourdain, Alecia Cook, Laura Lussier, Elijah Bellanger. Burial will be at the Lussier Family Burial Grounds in Red Lake. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
