Theressa Marie Myers, born on Sunday January 24th 1971, age52, began her Journey to the Spirit World on Saturday September 9th, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Theressa Myers was born in Minneapolis, MN to Elaine Mary Clark and Thomas Marvin Myers. She was the youngest of 8 children and had 7 older brothers. She lived her life in Minneapolis until her late 20’s where she met her boyfriend Mike Dashner and began her Journey on the Powwow trail. Soon after, they moved to Portland, Oregon, where she started beading and making regalia with her few close friends. She traveled to Powwows all throughout the Country with her family and was a Championship Fancy Shawl Dancer. She had the most Beautiful smile and she loved to make people laugh. The random funny stuff she would blurt out will be Forever missed. No matter the distance of her and her loved ones she always kept in contact. She enjoyed talking to her grandbabies on Facetime and doing funny face filters with them.
She will be remembered by her Mother and Father; her daughters: Raquel Guenthner, Crystal Guenthner, Larissa Myers and Nikki Dashner; her One and Only son, Tyler Dashner; her Grandbabies: Na’jeh Washington, Camaren Gregg, Xavier Goodman and Tobias Goodman; her son in laws: Hakeem Grant and Darrell Goodman; her Surviving Brother: Nick Myers; her Forever Sister: Stephanie Holdstheenemy; her Loving Boyfriend Eugene and All of her old Snaggs, which whom; she left heartbroken.
She will be reunited with the Love of her Life Charles “Charlie” Logan; Auntie Elsa; Uncle Bob Clark; Niece Rachel; Brother Troy Clark, and lots of her friends who passed on.
She touched the hearts of many on this Earth as she Loved to meet new people. She will be Forever Missed and Never Forgotten as she struts her way to the Promised Lands with Our Ancestors. Zhawenim
A traditional wake will begin at 2PM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Redby Community Center and will continue until October 3rd, 2023, with Allen Hardy, Alan and Jeanette Randberg Officiating her ceremony. Active Pallbearers will be Wayne Clark, Corky Clark, Arnold Kingbird, Tyler Dashner, Najeh Washington and Hakeem Grant. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donna Howard, Diane Howard, Alberta Swinson, Dawn Purser, Stephanie Holdstheenemy and Danielle White.
