Tiffany Kay Defoe

Tiffany Kay Defoe, age 34 of Red Lake, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025 surrounded by family at Sanford Health Medical Center Fargo, ND.

Tiffany was born in Bemidji, MN on July 22, 1991 to Lisa and Patrick Defoe Sr. She attended elementary and high school in Red Lake, and although she did not graduate with her graduating class, she later obtained her G.E.D. and went on to work in the laundry department at the Seven Clans Casino. She loved the outdoors, especially berry picking, and ice fishing, and when she heard the ice cracking she would take off running off the ice. She also enjoyed doing yard work at her home. Although she was a tiny young lady, she wasn’t afraid of hard work and was always willing to help whoever needed the help with building stuff, cleaning or just about anything. No task was too big or too small for her. She was forever cleaning, even while she was visiting with you she would start straightening up. She also loved to bake. She had a very creative nature and it showed in her days attending elementary school, with the help of her teacher she wrote a few books. She also loved  coloring in the adult coloring books and carried her book and gel pens wherever she went.

She especially loved spending time with family and she was the best fry cook at the family concession stand during the powwow. She had an infectious laugh that we will all miss.

Her memory will live on thru her kids and we are thankful for the gift of life she left the family in Baby Brayden and his siblings.

She is survived by her Parents: Lisa and Pat Defoe; her children: Tracen, Lisadie, Jacinda, Laila and Baby Brayden Defoe; Siblings: Kristina Defoe, Patrick Defoe Jr, Rodney (Serena) Defoe Sr.; Significant other Royce Spears. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; Special Grand Parents: Mike and Eve Beaulieu. She proceeded in death by Maternal Grandparents, Shirley and Roy Burgoon, Paternal Grandparents, Priscilla Defoe, Robert “Knocky” Gibbs. Several Aunts and Uncles.

Wake to begin on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Red Lake Center and continuing until the time of service on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at family burial grounds in BOT. Active pallbearers: Royce Spears, Patrick Defoe Jr., Rodney Defoe Sr., Allen D. English Jr., Jeremy “Jack” Brown Jr., Frank Stately, Richard (Opi) Defoe Jr., Jamie Cook, Bryson White. Honorary Pallbearers: Bianca Mendoza, Lilah Sayers, Terrie Lussier, Janelle Lussier, Becky Cook, Darilyn Cook, Mona Cook-Stately, Mike Cook, Jenn Olson, Justice Iceman, Kristina Defoe, Eliza Defoe, Nick Defoe, Char Roberts, Cheryl Thomas, Patrick Michael Defoe and Connie Defoe.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
