Tristan Collin Stately

Tristan Collin Stately, Manidoo Gwiiwizens “Spirit Boy”, Eagle Clan, age 5, travelled to the spirit world on March 16, 2024, in Red Lake, MN.

Tristan was born on December 15, 2018, in Bemidji, MN, to Jennifer Stately and Brian Graves Jr. Tristan was an outgoing spirited little boy who loved playing with his brothers, Remi and Ethan. He loved anything “Sonic” and was protector of his brothers, even though he was the middle child.

Left to cherish his memory are:  his parents: Brian Graves Jr. and Jennifer Stately; brother, Ethan Stately; maternal grandparents: Juliet White and Darwin Stately Sr.; paternal grandparents: Shannon (Wilbert Maxwell Jr.) Hardy and Brian Graves Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Parkhurst; paternal great-grandmother, Donna Graves; maternal aunt, Natisha (Neal) King; maternal uncles: Sedrick White, Jalen White, Avery White, Darwin Stately Jr., Stanford Zephier, John Zephier, Tyler Stately; paternal aunts: Aaliyah Graves, Tionne Hardy, Iyonna Hardy, Eveangela Maxwell, Blessing Maxwell; paternal uncle, Wilbert Maxwell III; maternal great-aunts: Angela White, Danielle White, Tanya White; maternal great-uncles: Jim White, Ron White, William White, Sean White; paternal great-aunts: Nancy Hardy, Wambadi Hardy, Natasha Kingbird, Michelle Graves, Jerilyn Graves; paternal great-uncles: Naiche Graves, Armando Jones, Chaske Bugg, Mark (Lavender) Kingbird Sr. Dallas Kingbird, Naygahjiwung Kingbird, Montana Kingbird, Michael Graves, Brian Graves, Jonathan Graves, Wendell Graves; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A traditional wake will begin at Noon on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the New Red Lake Center in Red Lake and continue until the service at 10AM on Sunday, March 24, 2024, with Allen Hardy as spiritual leader. Active pallbearers will be: Craig Graves Jr., Kyle Hardy, Naygahjiwung Kingbird, Avery White, Stanford Zephier, Tyler Stately, Montana Kingbird, Chaske Bugg, Mark Kingbird, Sedrick White, Darwin Stately Jr., Jalen White. Honorary  pallbearers will be:  Rikki White, Lorissa Roy, Karlene White, Kaylee White, Destiny White, Neal Johnson, Jordan Zephier, Landon Zephier, Mark Kingbird Jr., Leodyn Kingbird, Will Maxwell, Coby Hardy, Tristan’s classmates and teachers, Ellen Lussier and Dorie French. Burial will be at the Hardy Family Burial Grounds in Little Rock. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
