Vincent L Dow

Vincent L. Dow, age 65, of the Kingfisher Clan, began his journey to the spirit world on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

Vincent was born on March 26, 1959, in Red Lake Minnesota to Ruth (Whitefeather) and Eugene Dow.  He worked as a bus driver for the Red Lake School District. In his free time, Vincent, loved to fish and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Vincent was a kind, compassionate man who was always willing to help his family, friends and neighbors. Above all, he loved being a grandpa. He and his wife Bonnie were entrusted with the care of their granddaughters, Charlotte and Hope, providing a loving home for them.

He will be lovingly remembered by: his children: Maurice Dow, Vincent White, Jennifer White; several grandchildren; siblings: Vivian (Blaine) Freeman, Debra (Steven) Stout, James Dow, Elaine Dow; aunts: Olive Dow, Joyce Dow; uncles: Bruce Dow, Edward Dow; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.  (add Bonnies side info)

Travelling with him to the spirit world are his beloved wife, Bonnie, and his granddaughters, Charlotte White and Hope Oakgrove; greeting them are: his parents, Ruth and Eugene Dow; son, Matthew Dow; brother, Donald Dow; aunts and uncles: Byron Dow, Dewayne Dow, Margaret Dow, Alvina Dow, Rose Clyde-Whitefeather, James Whitefeather, Josephine Whitefeather, Rose Weise; nephews Sean Stout and Scott Stout; and niece Marylynn Heinonen; cousins Diane Whitefeather, Howard Whitefeather, Natle Weise..

A traditional wake will begin at 1PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club in Ponemah and continue until the service at 10AM on Thursday, August 22, 2024, with Mike Needham as spiritual leader.  Active pallbearers will be: Eric Whitefeather, Seneca White, Vincent White, Carter Dow, Tyrone Dow, Travis Dow.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Vincent’s Friends, Family and Community of Red Lake. Burial will be at Vincent’s home alongside his wife, Bonnie and their granddaughters: Charlotte and Hope.
